Canon Compact Photo Printer Selphy CP720 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have bought two CP720 for $99.00 each from local store. It has several useful functions like 1.5 inch LCD preview monitor, multi layout control, built in USB cable and card reader... Print quality is excellent with anti-smudge coating, you can not tell the difference with print from Photo Lab or even better. Printing time takes about 2 min. Highly recommend this printer for people who want to print snap photos by themselves. Furthermore, upgrade version CP730 has battery operated option, so you can get nice photo lab quality print at anytime, anywhere.
CONs; 28￠ per print. Easy to get dust spot on the final image while 3 pass print processing. No image Cropping function(But $50 more CP730 has it!)

Canon CP-200 Photo Printer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The photos produced by this printer move home digital photography into a new realm. They are as good, or better, than 35mm prints. The brilliant vivid saturated colors have to be seen to be appreciated, and they also have an archival coating.
The prints are a bit expensive at $0.55 each, but since you only print the good ones, and you can modify the image before printing, I think it is worth it. Maybe if everybody buys one the media will get cheaper. It is quite slow but you can batch print. Of course the prints are 4X6 inches maximum, but that is 98% of what I print.
I did have a problem during installation due to a conflict with my HP5550 USB printer. Make sure to turn off the HP printer manager or it won't work. Direct printing from a camera is extremely easy, so you can make prints for friends.

It's the coolest party toy since the Polaroid: the new Canon CP-200 Photo Printer. Connect it directly to your Powershot-series Canon or other PictBridge-supporting digital camera, and you'll be printing snapshots and stickers faster than you can say "cheese." PictBridge is an industry standard that lets you print images by directly connecting your compatible digital camera to your printer, regardless of the brand or model, without using a computer. The included USB cable adapter also lets you connect the CP-200 to your camera or your computer for access to images stored there.
Each wee image features 256-level color and 300 dpi resolution; the dye-sublimation process provides results similar to traditional photos, with rich detail and accurate skin tones. Supported papers include a variety of sizes, as well as bordered and borderless options. Whatever you choose, your images print in seconds--about 85 seconds for a postcard size, 40 for tiny labels or credit card size, when printing directly from Canon PowerShot cameras.
For added portability, the CP-200 supports an optional car battery adapter (model CBA-CP100). Canon provides a one-year warranty covering parts and service.
What's in the Box: Card Photo Printer CP-200 body, paper cassette (4-by-6-inch size), ink cassette, compact power adapter, CD-ROM driver, trial standard paper (4-by-6-inch size)

Canon CP-100 Digital Photo Printer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I recently bought the CP-100 based only on a whim (thought it looked cool and would be great to have instant photos)and also because i owned a canon digital camera. I have tried it out and found the printing quality to be excellent but.. i am now finding it hard to find the ink cartidges and paper* compatible with this product.. hopefully as this product becomes more popular, its accessories will be readily available (amazon.com, please dont sell products without supporting accessories like paper and cartridges, thanks!).

The Canon card photo printer CP-100 connects directly to several Canon PowerShot digital cameras and is sufficiently light and compact to go anywhere you take your camera (printer battery pack not included). All print settings are made directly from the camera's LCD, obviating the need for a computer and simplifying the process of obtaining high-quality color prints.
With its cool translucent blue case and metallic styling, the CP-100 is the ultimate imaging accessory for Canon digital cameras, including PowerShot models A40, A30, and A100. You can choose from three print sizes: 4 by 6 inches, credit-card size, and the smaller label size. Using dye-sub print technology, the printer produces credit card-size prints in just 40 seconds and full-color postcard-size prints in 81 seconds.
Other features include the ability to produce card-size labels and mini-labels (photo stickers) for added imaging fun. The CP-100 applies a clear UV overcoat to each print for extended longevity. You also have a choice of bordered or borderless prints, and the CP-100 is compatible with DPOF (Digital Print Order Format) to facilitate batch printing, e-mail transfers, and print ordering through online photo labs.
Optional accessories for the Canon CP-100 printer include a dedicated battery, computer connection kit, and car battery adapter. The unit is backed by a one-year warranty.
